В современных условиях всеобщей глобализации и стремления ведущих мировых экономик к большей открытости импортозамещение является одним из инструментов реализации политики экономического протекционизма, свойственного в основном развивающимся и переходным экономикам, национальные рынки которых еще недостаточно стабильны. В настоящее время доля импорта в себестоимости и потреблении промышленной продукции в России довольно высока. Именно поэтому процессы импортозамещения являются важной составляющей стратегии развития агропромышленного комплекса современной России. Важность данных процессов заключается не только в технологическом и экономическом плане, но и в качестве инструмента обеспечения продовольственной безопасности страны. В условиях введенных санкций Россия в кратчайшие сроки вынуждена искать новых поставщиков сельскохозяйственных и продовольственных товаров, развивать и модернизировать внутреннее производство данной продукции. Именно поэтому анализ зарубежного опыта применения импортозамещения, используемых инструментов и их совершенствование механизмов, применяемых в России является весьма актуальной темой.
