Description
La exploración de agua subterránea usando imágenes de satélite esta aún en desarrollo. En el presente trabajo se han aplicado diversas técnicas visuales y estadísticas de los datos imágenes de los sensores ETM+ y ASTER, tales como el ajuste de histogramas, composición de colores, componentes principales, filtros y fusión de imágenes de diferentes resoluciones espaciales lo que ha permitido identificar unidades hidrogeológicas y diversos patrones de drenaje natural. El trabajo muestra el uso de todas las bandas del sensor ETM+ para obtener información hidrogeológica. Los datos imágenes GDEM ASTER se utilizan tanto para el preprocesamiento de las imágenes ETM+ como para obtener modelos topográficos que contribuyen a la discriminación de zonas potencialmente con agua subterránea. Se aplican procesos de clasificación y posclasificación para obtener un mapa temático de agua subterránea en la región de interés.
