Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: 1,0, Hochschule Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Begriffe „Cybermobbing" und „Cyberbullying" findet in den Medien mittlerweile häufig Verwendung, dennoch sind sich viele der genauen Signifikanz der Begriffe nicht bewusst. Gerade die älteren Generationen, welche nicht mit Computern und Internet aufgewachsen sind, die also keine s.g. „Digitalnatives" sind, können mit der Flut von neuen Begriffen, welche aus dem „Web 2.0" stammen, oft überfordert sein. Somit wird ihnen eine realistische Einschätzung der damit verbundenen Gefahren, welche von den Medien gerne thematisiert werden, erheblich erschwert. Daher ist es wichtig, sich mit diesen, als Gefahren bezeichneten Phänomenen genauer und auch für die Allgemeinheit verständlich auseinanderzusetzen. Mit einem dieser Phänomene, nämlich dem Cybermobbing, beschäftigt sich die vorliegende Arbeit. Da Cybermobbing ebenso wie das traditionelle Mobbing ein sehr breit gefächertes Themengebiete darstellt, ist es unumgänglich das Thema einzugrenzen. Weil das Leben im Web 2.0 gerade für junge Menschen eine erhebliche Bedeutung hat, konzentriert sich diese Arbeit auf eine Altersgruppe zwischen 10 bis 21 Jahren - wobei dies als eine grobe Orientierung dienen soll und nicht als exakte Altersabgrenzung zu verstehen ist. Natürlich kommen Mobbing und Cybermobbing auch unter Erwachsenen vor. Wie Studien zeigen stellt Mobbing gerade am Arbeitsplatz ein ernstzunehmendes Problem dar. Doch kann dies hier nicht weiter berücksichtigt werden, da es den Rahmen dieser Arbeit übersteigen würde. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, anhand von Fachliteratur und verschiedenen Studien die aktuellen Entwicklungen zu diesem Phänomen in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland zu untersuchen. Es wird herausgearbeitet, ob Cybermobbing tatsächlich eine Form der Gewalt darstellt oder nur durch die aktuelle mediale Aufarbeitung als solche stilisiert wird.[...]
