WuNDERLY, WuNDERLY). Sie gibt ein hinreichend genaues Bild, wenn auch die Durchfuhrung grosse Erfahrung und Prazision erfordert. Die Elektrophorese wird vorteilhaft erganzt durch die Serumlabilitats proben, wobei fur die pulmonalen Prozesse namentlich das sog. .WELTMANN-Band (CaC -Hitzekoagulationsschwelle) von grosser Bedeutung ist: je schmaler das WELTMANN-Band, um so akuter, entzundlicher und eventuell mit Nekrosen ein hergehend ist der Prozess (Zunahme der 1)(-Globuline); je breiter das WELT 2 MANN-Band, um so chronischer, proliferativer ist das zugrunde liegende Leiden (Zunahme der y-Globuline). In beiden Fallen ist die Senkungsreaktion erhoht. Halten sich die Zunahme der 1)(-und die der y-Globuline ungefahr die Waage, so resultiert ein sog. stummes oder verschleiertes WELTMANN -Band, dessen Entschleierung durch eine gleichzeitig erhohte Senkungsreaktion oder dann durch den positiven Ausfall einer anderen Serumlabilitatsprobe (z. B. Takata oder Cadmium-Reaktion) oder durch die Elektrophorese durchgefuhrt werden kann (in bezug auf Einzelheiten vgl. WuHRMANN und WuNDERLY). Alle Untersuchungen gewinnen sehr an Wert durch die periodische Wieder holung und lassen so das klinische Verlaufsbild viel besser erfassen. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass unter Umstanden durch die Therapie das Blutei, veissbild modifiziert werden kann, ohne dass daraus prognostische Schlusse gezogen werden durfen. Dies gilt z. B. fur das Neoteben (vgl. WuNDERLY, BoLLAG und WuHR MANN}, das meistens eine starke Blutsenkungsverminderung hervorruft, bedingt durch das Auftreten von Stechapfelformen der Erythrocyten, wobei die Sistierung des Medikamentes rasch wieder die ursprungliche erhohte Senkung erkennen lasst.
