Uber Physiologie und Patho· logie des GefaBapparates ist unser Wissen wesentlich unvollstiindiger; dies mag insbesondere darauf beruhen, daB die vasale Motorik sowohl lokalen als auch ubergeordneten nervosen Impulsen untersteht, die in ihrem Range zentralwarts abgestuft sind, so daB ein kompliziertes Zusammenspiel der einzelnen GefaBrohren und -strecken resultiert. Nicht zuletzt hat dic Auffindung neuroplegisch wirk samer Substanzen deutlich vor Augen gefUhrt, an wie vielen chemisch different empfindlichen Stellen die GefaBtatigkeit beeinfluBt werden kann; ihre reaktive Modulationsfahigkeit ist in ihrer Variationsbreite kaum ubersehbar. So bewirkt z. B. auch die groBe Zahl an pressorisch und depressorisch wirksamen Substanzen jcweils spezifisch abgrenzbare Funktionsanderungen. Ebenso wie eine intakte autonome Steuerung stellt auch ein geordneter Elektrolytbestand im extracellu laren Raum wie in den Zellen eine grundsatzliche V oraussetzung fUr die physio logische Anspreehbarkeit der motorischen GefaBwandzellen dar. Diese AusfUhrungen erweisen, daB die nur deskriptive Behandlung des Themas bereits grundliche Kenntnisse voraussetzt und einen breiten Raum erfordert, da jedem der zahlreichen, in ihrer Ursaehe so heterogenen Hypotonie-Zustande eine eigene Dynamik zugehort. Die Darstellung konnte sieh in der Aufzahlung der differierenden Symptomatik verlieren, wurden nicht ubergeordnete und struk turell vergleichbare Funktionsablaufe eine analytische Abtrennung und syste matische Einteilung ermoglichen.
