Au terme de notre étude, il apparaît que le nouchi, à l’origine un mélange de français et de soussou, a été créé par des jeunes délinquants immigrés guinéens d’ethnie soussou qui l’utilisaient pour fomenter leur coup en toute discrétion. Ce qui lui a d’ailleurs valu cette périphrase: la langue des voleurs. Par la suite, il sera l’apanage des jeunes ivoiriens qui apporteront de nouvelles colorations en y intégrant les langues ivoiriennes, les langues africaines et les langues occidentales. Au fil du temps, cet argot s’est développé très rapidement à tel enseigne qu’il est aujourd’hui devenu un parler urbain dynamique dans la mesure où il renferme plusieurs variantes et qu’il est plus ou moins connu et pratiqué par une frange de la population abidjanaise. Il est également parlé dans presque toutes les grandes villes de la Côte d’Ivoire et dans certaines capitales africaines (Ouagadougou, Conakry, Dakar) et occidentales (Paris, Bruxelles, Londres).
