Hoy en día encontramos distintas aproximaciones teóricas que tratan de explicar la fantasía erótica femenina de violación. La mayoría de ellas asumen actitudes culpabilizadoras o victimizadoras hacia las mujeres que disfrutan de este tipo de fantasías. Entra estas teorías se encuentran aquellas que consideran que estas mujeres desean secretamente ser víctimas de una violación, pero también las que aseguran que las mujeres son víctimas de un sistema patriarcal que les ha arrebatado la posibilidad de configurar su propio deseo. De esta forma, las fantasías eróticas de violación van a ser consideradas como un deseo equivocado, en ocasiones síntoma de patología, sin que su valor sea tenido en cuenta. Este trabajo analiza los discursos profesionales respecto a este contenido imaginario, así como las actitudes desde las que se ha abordado el fenómeno, y apuesta por una aproximación comprensiva de esta peculiar experiencia erótica.
