Aunque existen otros escenarios importantes donde el ser humano puede aprender su humanidad y su conciencia ciudadana (el escolar, por ejemplo) es dentro de la cultura familiar donde se gestan nuevas relaciones que le permiten reconducir los horizontes de sentido, reconocer su dignidad y la de los otros, así como actuar de manera crítica y co-rresponsable en la transformación social, económica, política y cultural de su entorno. Se espera que, el lector o la lectora logre apropiarse de una mejor comprensión de su escenario existencial para que asuma su proyecto de vida personal, familiar y ciudadano desde una perspectiva ética, de encuentro y acogida de sí mismo y del otro.
