Description

To explore the effects of some micrometeorological parameters over natural vegetation of fallow land, an experiment was carried out. Air and soil temperature, components of solar radiation and photosynthetically active radiation got the highest value within time range 13:00 to 13:30 hours. Relative humidity showed an inversely proportional trend with these three components. Soil temperatures were measured at 2,5 and 10 cm depths and there were little variations among them. Average midday albedo value was 0.20. The average values of latent heat flux density (lE), sensible heat flux density (H) and ground heat flux density (G) were 7.63, 0.17 and 1.58 MJm-2 day-1 and they were 81, 2 and 16% of total Rn, respectively. It might be due to higher moisture content of soil as well as dense grasses and weeds of fallow land. The evapotranspiration was high and thus lE formed the dominant energy balance components. Sensible heat flux and soil heat flux showed a very minute portion of energy balance. Wet soil surface and high soil moisture had influence on smaller H and G.
