Das Sehen ist eine der zentralsten Sinneswahrnehmungen des Menschen. Wenn diese visuelle Wahrnehmung durch eine Verletzung gestört ist, bedeutet dies für die betroffene Person eine grosse Beeinträchtigung im Alltag. Ein Bild wird beim Betrachten mit den Augen systematisch abgetastet. Dieser Vorgang kann bei Patienten mit Hirnverletzungen gestört sein. In unserer Diplomarbeit wurde ein Funktionsmuster entwickelt, das die Augenbewegungen mittels eines beidseitigen Elektrookulogramms (EOG) erfasst. Die abgeleiteten elektrophysiologischen Signale werden verstärkt und drahtlos auf einen PC übertragen. Dort werden sie ausge-wertet und mit dem Bildinhalt überlagert. So kann das Muster der Abtastung bestimmt und durch Fachpersonal bewertet werden.Die Neurologen und Neuropsychologen wollen das Produkt bei der Rehabilitation Hirn verletzter Patienten einsetzten.
