Ziel ist es, die Relevanz von Venture Capital für Innovation und Beschäftigung zu klären und durch empirische Studien zu quantifizieren. Die empirische Untersuchung erfolgt dabei auf der OECD-Ebene, um sicherzustellen, dass die Ergebnisse auch im internationalen Kontext ihre Relevanz zeigen. Die Arbeit schließt mit wirtschaftspolitischen Empfehlungen für den deutschen Venture-Capital-Markt.
