Die vorliegende Dissertation unternimmt erstmals den Versuch einer umfassenden, systematischen Darstellung des ebenso ungewöhnlichen wie interessanten auf (-f) auslautenden französischen Subnormvokabulars. Mittels detaillierter lexikographischer Einzelanalysen zu jedem Wort des umfangreichen literarischen Korpus wird der wortgeschichtliche Forschungsstand im Bereich Argot aktualisiert. Hauptziel der Arbeit ist es sodann, die Suffixbildungen herauszufiltern, um so Herkunft und Funktion der dokumentierten Suffixe zu klären, ihre verschiedenen Konnotationen zu bestimmen sowie ihre Vitalität und Produktivität zu ermitteln.
