Die vorliegende Arbeit enlstand wahrend meiner Tatigkeit als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Fraunhofer-Institut fUr Produktionstechnik und Automatisierung (IPA) in Stuttgart. Dem geschaftsfUhrenden Direktor des Instituts fUr Industrielle Fertigung und Fabrikbetrieb der Universitat Stuttgart und Prasidenten der Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Herrn Professor Dr. h.c. mull. Dr.-Ing. H.-J. Warnecke gilt mein besonderer Dank fiir die Anregung und stete Forderung der Arbeit. Herrn Professor Dr.-Ing. A.
