Sinn und Zweck der Simulation ist es daher, den jeweiligen unternehmensspezifischen Ablauf im geplanten System m|glichst real abzubilden, so da~ in Abh{ngigkeit ablaufspezifischer Einfl}sse gesicherte Aussagen }ber das reale Verhalten des Gesamtsystems gewonnen werden k|nnen. Neben den theoretischen Grundlagen der Simulationstechnik zeigt das Buch Vorgehensweisen zum Aufbau von Simulationsmodellen und erl{utert diese anhand von Praxisbeispielen aus dem Bereich Proze~simulation mit Blechumformung, Massivumformung, NC- und Roboter-Programmierung, Simulation in der Anlagenplanung mit Fabrikplanung, Planung und Betrieb von flexiblen Fertigungssystemen sowie Simulation in der Produktionssteuerung mit Produktionsprogrammplanung und Produktionsfeinplanung.
