Die hier vorgestellte neue Entwicklungsmethode zur Nachbildung verketteter Fertigungszellen mit Industrierobotern gestattet es, die Programmgröße an die Hauptspeichergröße des Rechners anzupassen und die Vorzüge der speziellen und verallgemeinerten Simulationsprogramme auszunutzen. Zur Realisierung dieser Entwicklungsmethode wurde eine einheitliche Entwurfsrichtlinie erstellt, die auf die Gruppierungsmerkmale der Elementattribute und Beziehungen zwischen den Systemelementen aufbaut. Das systematische Überprüfen der Nachbildungsvollständigkeit dieses Simulationssystemes erfolgte mit dem Entity/Relationship-Modell und dem Petrinetz. Das praxisnahe Simulationssystem liefert als neue Funktionalität nicht nur die Planungsdaten zum Industrierobotereinsatz in verketteten Fertigungszellen, sondern es gestattet auch die Anwendung der entwickelten Programmoduln zur Reihenfolgebestimmung der Handhabungsaufträge.
