Damit bildet das Buch spiegelbildlich das Gegenstück zu der als Band 3 der Reihe erschienenen Publikation "Ausländer vor deutschen Gerichten". Das Verfahren gegen ausländische Beschuldigte kann als Testfall für die Rechtsstaatlichkeit, aber auch die praktische Handhabbarkeit des Strafverfahrensrechts im Alltag gelten. Im Vordergrund stehen Probleme der sprachlichen Verständigung und einer ausreichenden Verteidigung des Beschuldigten. Darüber hinaus werden vor allem auch die im polnischen Recht vorgesehenen verfahrensrechtlichen Besonderheiten sowie die Möglichkeiten der Übernahme und Übergabe der Strafvollstreckung eingehend behandelt.
