Due to the conception of the entire work as well as in accordance with the nomenclature of "Nomina Anatomic Veterinaria" each organ system is treated first in a general and comparative manner, giving the student a broad view of the subject. This is followed by accounts of the individual systems of the single species, providing the veterinary practitioner and researcher with detailed descriptions.
