Le but de ce livre est de consolider l’expression suivante : les techniques bio-inspirées représentent une solution viable pour bâtir des systèmes performants pour les tâches de recherche d’information dans le web. Pour prouver cette allégation, nous avons proposé des nouvelles approches bio-inspirées pour l’analyse et l’exploration des données que nous avons regroupé sous forme d’un kit d’outils appelé EBI-RI (environnement bio-inspiré pour la recherche d’information). Cet environnement est constitué d’un ensemble de : modèles pour la tâche de recherche ad hoc (modèle des abeilles travailleuses (MAT) et modèle des algorithmes génétiques (MAGs)) ; classificateurs supervisés pour les tâches de filtrage d’information et de recherche multimédia (machine cœur-poumons, regroupement des cafards, les abeilles travailleuses artificielles et les éléphants d’Asie sociaux) ; classificateurs non supervisés pour la tâche de regroupement d’information (les abeilles travailleuses artificielles, les automates cellulaires 2D et 3D). Ces approches ont été utilisées pour élaborer des systèmes réels afin de résoudre différent problèmes d’application de la recherche d’information dans le web social. Il a publié dans différentes revues telles que IJSIR, IJCAC, IJAMC, IJIRR, IJIIT, IJATS, IJORIS, IJOCI. Ses intérêts de recherche incluent Data Mining, Découverte de connaissances, métahéoristique, bio-inspiré.
