غايةُ هذهِ الدراسةِ مراجعَةُ الخطابِ النقديِّ حَولَ القصيدَةِ المعاصِرَةِ فِي مِصرَ خِلالَ النصفِ الثانِي مِنَ القرنِ العشرينَ، وَقَد ضَمَّتْ هَذِهِ الدراسَةُ ثَلَاثَةَ أبوَابٍ: كَانَ أولُهَا خَالصًا لِمُراجَعَةِ مَا كَتَبَهُ النقادُ عنِ إيقاعِ القصيدةِ المعاصرةِ، وَكانَ ثانِيهَا خَالصًا لِتنَاولِهم آليَّاتِ التصويرِ فِي القصيدَةِ المعاصرةِ، وَأمَّا ثالِثُهَا فَقَدْ خَلصَ لخِطَابِ النقادِ حَولَ لغةِ القصيدة المعاصرَةِ. وَخُلَاصَةُ هَذهِ الدراسَةُ: أنَّ مَا كَتَبَهُ نُقادَنَا عنِ النَّصِّ الشِّعرِيِّ الحَدِيثِ لَا يَعْدُو دَائِرَةَ النقدِ الانطباعِيِّ أوِ التأثُّرِيِّ، وَمِنْ ثَمَّ جَاءَتْ قِرَاءَاتُهُم للنصِّ الشعريِّ ذَاتيَّةً، تَخضعُ لِرُؤَى الناقِدِ وَتَصَوُّراتِهِ، ومُيولِهِ وأهوائِهِ، ومُكوناتِهِ والمَعرفيَّةِ، وقُدرَاتِهِ الذَّاتيةِ فِي التعامُلِ مَعَ النصِّ الشعرِيِّ، وَلَا يَنفِي ذَلِكَ أنَّ ثَمَّةَ استثناءَاتٍ شَارَفَتِ المنهَجَ فِي خِطابِنَا النقدِيِّ المعَاصِرِ، لَكِنَّهَا نادرةٌ، لِذَا تَبْقَى إشكاليَّةُ المنهَجِ فِي خِطابِنَا النقديِّ قَائِمَةً.
