Der vorliegende Band der Reihe "Die Versicherungsausbildung" gibt eine allgemeine Einführung in die Versicherungslehre unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der volks- und betriebswirtschaftlichen Grundlagen. Er setzt die Tradition der "Versicherungslehre Teil I" von Dr. Max Gehlens Versicherungslehrwerk fort, die in 18 Auflagen erschienen ist und von dem Unterzeichnenden mit Unterstützung der Herren Hammes, Koch und Lukarsch zusammengestellt wurde. Zeitlose Teile des Buches sind in das neue Werk übernommen worden. Es wurde Wert darauf gelegt, die inzwischen erschienenen Rahmenlehrpläne für V ersi cherungsfachklassen für den betrieblichen und zwischenbetrieblichen Unterricht sowic für den Blockunterricht zu berücksichtigen, außerdem die Leitlinien für die lernziel orientierte betriebliche Ausbildung zum Versicherungskaufmann. Schließlich wurde die Verbindung zu dem graphischen Tabellenwerk "Die Aus- und Weiterbildung in der Ver sicherungswirtschaft" , herausgegeben vom Berufsbildungswerk, dadurch hergestellt, daß eine Reihe von Angaben und Darstellungen übernommen wurde.
