About the Author Joelle Borhart, M.D. is Assistant Program Director and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center, where she has received a number of faculty honors. She gives frequent talks on obstetric emergencies and medical education and will be the Pre-Conference Course Director for ACEP 2016.
