In this book new experimental investigations of properties of Josephson junctions and systems are explored with the help of recent developments in superconductivity. The theory of the Josephson effect is presented taking into account the influence of multiband and anisotropy effects in new superconducting  compounds. Anharmonicity effects in current-phase relation on Josephson junctions dynamics are discussed. Recent studies in analogue and digital superconductivity electronics are presented. Topics of special interest include resistive single flux quantum logic in digital electronics. Application of Josephson junctions in quantum computing as superconducting quantum bits are analyzed. Particular attention is given to understanding chaotic behaviour of Josephson junctions and systems. The book is written for graduate students and researchers in the field of applied superconductivity. About the Author Iman Askerzade  received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in theory of oscillation from Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia, in 1985 and the Ph.D. and Dr. Sc. degrees in condensed matter physics from the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Baku, Azerbaijan, in 1995 and 2004, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Computer Engineering, Ankara University, Ankara, Turkey, and a Principial Scientific Researcher with the Institute of Physics, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. He was  an Associate Member with Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy,  a Postdoctoral Researcher with Solid State Institute, Dresden, Germany (2000) and Bilkent University (2001-2002), Turkey.  He is founding member of the Ankara University Superconductivity Technologies Application and Research Center (CESUR). His current research interests include computational condensed matter physics, fuzzy logic, and quantum computing. Ali Bozbey received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and electronics engineering from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2001, 2003, and 2006, respectively. In 2002, he was a Guest Researcher with the Jülich Research Center, Jülich, Germany, and in 2007, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan. Since 2008, he has been with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETU), Ankara, where he teaches in the areas of semiconductor and superconductor electronics. He is the head of the TOBB ETU Superconductivity Electronics Laboratory and founding member of the Ankara University Superconductivity Technologies Application and Research Center (CESUR). He acted as an executive board member at CESUR between 2012 and 2016. His research interests include design, modeling, and applications of superconductor sensors and integrated circuits.
