He completed his undergraduate and medical school degrees at the University of Iowa, Internal Medicine training at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center of Pennsylvania State University, and fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Florida. Dr. Koch's clinical and research interests include the pathophysiology of nausea and vomiting, gastroparesis, gastric dysrhythmias, and functional dyspepsia.
