About the Author Professor Faizal Bux is the Director of the Institute for Water and Wastewater Technology, Durban University of Technology. He has  more than 20 years service at higher Education Institutes and has received numerous  awards. Prof Bux's primary research areas are: wastewater biotechnology, bioremediation, algal biofuels research and biotechnology, constructed wetlands/rhizofiltration and rainwater harvesting.
