About the Author Lorenzo Crocco received his Laurea degree (summa cum laude) in Electronic Engineering and his Ph.D. degree in Applied Electromagnetics from the University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy, in 1995 and 2000 respectively. In 2001, he joined the Institute for Electromagnetic Sensing of the Environment, National Research Council of Italy (IREA-CNR), Naples, Italy, where he is currently Senior Researcher (since 2010
