Product Description English summary: Heidegger's philosophy of language contains a basic idea: language is relational openness. In this work, Michael Steinmann provides a systematic reconstruction of Heidegger's thoughts on language, based on his early works on logic, on 'Being and Time' and 'On the Way to Language.' Heidegger explained relational openness in regard to the synthetic structure of judgment. Michael Steinmann shows that Heideggger's approach was embedded in the debates of the Neokantian movement, parts of which are reconstructed in this book. In 'Being and Time', he developed a dynamic theory of meaning which saw the essence of language in the openness for different contents and their combination. In view of his later work, it is clear that even texts whose style may seem esoteric are based on clear and understandable arguments. The central insight is that meaning is not necessarily determined by intentionality. Gleichwohl folgt sie einem Grundgedanken: Sprache ist in ihrem Wesen als 'Verbindungsoffenheit' charakterisiert. Hiervon ausgehend rekonstruiert Michael Steinmann Heideggers Sprachphilosophie in ihrem systematischen Zusammenhang. Dabei legt er die fruhen Arbeiten zur Logik, Sein und Zeit sowie das spatere Werk Unterwegs zur Sprache zugrunde. Der Gedanke der Verbindungsoffenheit wird von Heidegger zunachst an der Synthesestruktur des Urteils expliziert. Nicht die gegebene Beziehung zwischen den Gehalten, sondern die Moglichkeit, verschiedene Gehalte in Beziehung zu bringen, macht das Wesen des Urteils aus. Erst auf diese Weise lost sich die Logik von der Bindung an bestimmte Wissenschaften oder Erkenntnisgebiete. Michael Steinmann zeigt, dass dieser Gedanke problemgeschichtlich in die Debatten des Neukantianismus eingebettet ist. Diese rekonstruiert er ausfuhrlich. 'Sein und Zeit' entwickelt im Anschluss daran eine dynamische Bedeutungstheorie, welche die Offenheit fur Bestimmungen und ihre Kombination als Grundlage der Sprache versteht. Dabei wird in diesem Kontext auch das hermeneutische Verhaltnis der Sprache zur Zeit deutlich. Angesichts des Spatwerks erlautert Michael Steinmann, dass die oftmals esoterisch anmutenden Texte Heideggers dennoch argumentativ nachvollzogen werden konnen. Im Zentrum steht die Einsicht, dass Bedeutung nicht notwendig intentional begrundet ist. Vielmehr evoziert das Sprechen einen Verweisungsspielraum von Dingen und Welt.
