Auf Basis derTraumata der rund 12-13 Millionen aus Afrika Verschleppten untersuchtvorliegender Band vor allem große Kaufl eute/Ausrüster (und Versicherer)der Sklavenschiffe, Kapitäne, Faktoren in Afrika und Schiffsärzte, aberauch die staatlichen Sklavenhandels-Profi teure des Westens, der Amerikassowie Afrikas (Portugal, Großbritannien, Frankreich, Niederlande, USA,Brasilien, Spanien/ Kuba und baltische Gebiete, Dahomey, Oyo, Kongo,Matamba, Kasanje, Angola, Loango, Futa-Staaten, Sokoto-Kalifat u.a.). Besondere Aufmerksamkeit gilt transkulturellen Lebensformen derMenschen, die - oft als Nachkommen von iberischen Männern und afrikanischen Frauen - als Atlantikkreolen die Sklavenschiffsbesatzungen derrund 40000 Fahrten zwischen Amerika und Afrika stellten. Sie vermittelten dieGeschäfte zwischen Atlantik und dem Innern der Kontinente - oft selbst ineiner Art Sklavenstatus. Und sie entwickelten schon seit dem 16. JahrhundertLebens-, Wissens-, Konsum- und Kulturformen, die in Europa erst im18. Jahrhundert, vor allem aber im 19. Jahrhundert als Kosmopolitismusund Biedermeier-Kapitalismus Furore machten und noch heute Grundlagender Globalisierung bilden.
