In den Jahren 2010 bis 2020 entstanden über 600 Bauten, Projekte und Wettbewerbe, darunter Wohnbauten, Krankenhäuser, Firmenzentralen, Hochschulbauten und nicht zuletzt das Haus 2226, das ganz ohne Klimatechnik auskommt. Das Buch dokumentiert in Form eines kommentierten Werkverzeichnisses in chronologischer Reihenfolge alle Projekte, Wettbewerbe und Studien dieser Jahre. Über 50 realisierte Bauten werden ausführlicher behandelt, 14 der wichtigsten davon werden vertieft mit zahlreichen Bildern, Plänen, Materialien und einem detaillierten Text präsentiert. Darüber hinaus befassen sich drei Essays und drei Interviews mit den zentralen Themen Dichte, Ressourcen und Open Building.
