About the Author Dr. Leonardi's research is mainly focused on the study of spontaneous bone tumors and skeletal diseases in domestic animals. After years of morphological and immunohistochemical investigations in different types of primary bone tumors such as osteosarcoma and giant cell tumor of bone, the Dr. Leonardi is currently working on the biomolecular and comparative genetic characterization of animal and human spontaneous osteosarcomas.
