She has currently submitted her Ph.D Thesis. Her area of expertise is in Polymer Science and Engineering, Fiber reinforced polymer Composites, Polymer Nanocomposites, Durability of polymers and composites in harsh environments, Degradation of polymer composites, Porous materials, Nanocomposites. She has published several research articles and book chapters. She has completed her M.Tech (Master of Technology) in Polymer Science and Technology from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala. She received her junior research fellowship from Qilu University of Technology, Jinan, China. She has received her Doctoral fellowship from the Chinese Government under the Chinese Scholarship Council. Thomas Sabu Ph.D, is currently Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University and the Founder Director and Professor of School of Energy Materials, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India.
