About the Author Roger Bromley is Emeritus Professor of Cultural Studies at the University of Nottingham, UK, and, formerly, Visiting Professor in the Department of English and Creative Writing at Lancaster University, UK. He is the author of Narratives for a New Belonging: Diasporic Cultural Fictions (2000) and a number of other books and scholarly articles.
