About the Author Ralf Engbert is Professor of Experimental and Biological Psychology at the University of Potsdam, Germany. His research focus is on mathematical models of eye movements, from fixational eye movements to reading, scene viewing, and mobile eye tracking. He is a member of the University of Potsdam’s Research Programs in Cognitive Science and in Data-Centric Sciences. This textbook was developed over several years during teaching of mathematical modeling courses for students of cognitive science, psychology, and computer science at the master level.
