As such, it is a valuable resource for scientists, professionals and students. About the Author Flávio Roberto Mello Garcia is professor at Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel), Brazil. He did master’s degree and a PhD in Zoology (Entomology) at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do  Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), Brazil. He did postdoctoral training at the University of Florida (UF) and trained at the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). He is a CNPq (Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development) researcher. He is an author of more than 200 articles and chapters and 9 books. Project Coordinator "Evaluation of the use of Sterile Insects and pupae parasitoids for the management of Drosophila suzukii in greenhouse" approved and encouraged by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Advise postdoctoral, doctorate, masters, and scientific initiation. He coordinated more than 34 research projects in Brazil, Africa, Uruguay, and the United States.
