About the Author Dr. Stepan Bilan received PhD in 1990 in the field of computer systems and components from Vinnitsa Polytechnic Institute, Faculty of Automatization and Computer science. He has been working in the Vinnytsia State Technical University (now the Vinnytsia National Technical University) since 1990. In 1998 he was awarded the academic title of an assistant professor of Computer Science. From 2003 to 2017, he worked in State Economy and Technology University of Transport (Kiev, Ukraine) as Professor at the Department of Telecommunication technologies and automatics. He supervised many masters and PhD students in Computer Sciences. His research interests include Artificial intelligence, image processing, and recognition, information security, cellular automata, biometric identification, pseudorandom sequence generation devices. In these research points, he has more than 50 international publications.
