This book brings together contributions that analyse how subcultural myths develop and how they can be studied. About the Author Bart van der Steen is University Lecturer at Leiden University’s Institute of History, the Netherlands. His previous book with Palgrave,  A European Youth Revolt: European Perspectives on Youth Protest and Social Movements in the 1980s, published in 2016. Thierry P.F. Verburgh is research coordinator of the Center for Applied Research of the Faculty of Digital Media and Creative Industries at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS), the Netherlands. His research focuses on the social interactions and epistemology (e.g. perceived reality, myth-making, and fundamentalism) of youth cultures, generations, and social movements.
