She founded the Division of Gynecologic Pathology and the course of Gynecologic Pathology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York where she is a tenured Professor since 1986 and Professor Emeritus since 2016, devoting her time to diagnosis, teaching and research activities. She was elected a member of the French National Academy of Medicine in 2007; authored over 150 peer reviewed articles and edited 7 textbooks, with the main topics early detection of neoplasms of the female genital tract and Hormonal Pathology of the Uterus.
