About the Author Panayiotis Vlamos is a Greek mathematician who studies mathematics, bioinformatics and neurodegeneration. He is Professor of Mathematics and Head of the Department of Informatics, Ionian University. He is also heading the Bioinformatics and Human Electrophysiology Laboratory (BiHELab).
