About the Author Paula Guerra is Professor of Sociology at the University of Porto, Portugal. She is a researcher at the Institute of Sociology at the University of Porto and Adjunct Associate Professor of the Griffith Centre for Social and Cultural Research. She is also the main coordinator of the KISMIF project (Keep it simple, make it fast!) and, with Andy Bennett, the cofounder and co-organizer of the KISMIF Conference. Pedro Quintela is a sociologist, a researcher with the KISMIF project and a doctoral student in the Faculty of Economics at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. His research focuses on the sociology of art and culture, cultural policies, urban studies, cultural and creative industries, urban cultures and cultural mediation.
