About the Author Annelise Kopp Alves is a Professor at the Materials Department of the Universidad e Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) since 2010. From 2012 to 2016 she was the Head of the Materials Department at UFRGS. From 2016 to 2017 she was the Coordinator of the Materials Engineering course at UFRGS. Her research is focused on nanometric ceramic materials applied to catalysis and energy.
