This contributed volume presents the outcomes of multidisciplinary studies on the problem of sustainable economic development. The key issues addressed here are economic transformation, crisis management, formation and implementation of industrial policy in the innovative economy, and the development of individual industries (oil refining, transport, education, tourism, the financial sector, etc.), as well as the problem of resistance to changes in the economy. Special attention is paid to economic growth under unstable conditions and the impact of digitalization on the development of economic processes. This book is dividided into five parts, the first of which deals with factors and conditions determining the sustainable development of different socio-economic systems, as well as issues in connection with the post-crisis development of regional economies. About the Author Svetlana Igorevna Ashmarina, Doctor of Economics, is a professor, vice-rector of Research and International Relations, and head of the Applied Management Department at Samara State University of Economics, Russia. Her research focuses on sustainability and economic development of industries, enterprises and nations.  Marek Vochozka, MBA and Doc. Ing., received his PhD in 2008 from the University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic, where he worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Business Economics. His research focuses on management, business, finance, and financial analysis.
