Nuesiri is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Potsdam, Germany, and a Research Affiliate with the Cline Center for Democracy, University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, USA. His research interests include democratic decentralisation, participation, and political representation in climate change and forestry initiatives such as REDD+.
