About the Author Yoshihiro Yamamoto received his Ph.D. in Energy Science from Kyoto University. He is an Associate Professor at Takasaki City University of Economics, where he teaches environmental economics. He has been conducting an economic analysis of renewable energy concerning investment, trade and organization. His research has been supported by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
