About the Author David A. Bradt, MD, MPH, FACEM, FAFPHM, FACEP, DTM&H, is a disaster epidemiologist trained in emergency medicine and public health. He has earned fellowships from five medical specialty societies across the US, UK, and Australia as well as cross-trained in disaster management through the International Committee of the Red Cross, the World Health Organization, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and the US Agency for International Development’s Office of US Foreign Disaster Assistance. His professional interest is disaster health services leading to disaster field experience in 25 countries and territories.
