About the Author Michel Brissaud, a été professeur à l'Institut National de Sciences Appliquées (INSA) de Lyon. Il est également ingénieur en Génie Electrique (EA66) de l'INSA de Lyon. Ses activités de recherche ont été effectuées principalement dans le Laboratoire de Génie Electrique et Ferroélectricité de l'INSA de Lyon et ont concerné la caractérisation et la modélisation des matériaux céramiques élaborés dans ce Laboratoire ainsi que la conception et la réalisation de capteurs, d'actionneurs et de transducteurs ultrasonores.
