Giacometti examines twentieth-century literature both as it spans the avant-garde movements (the journal Documents, surrealism) and through its return to the external model. Intersecting with research in phenomenology, his work opens up a radical questioning of the relationship between language and reality. About the Author Thomas Augais est post-doctorant au FNS (Fonds national suisse de la recherche scientifique). Depuis 2016, il est membre associé de l'UMR THALIM. Il a soutenu la thèse dont cet ouvrage est issu en 2009 à l'université Lumière - Lyon 2. Ses recherches portent sur le rapport au réel dans le dialogue entre les écrivains et les artistes au XXe siècle, ainsi que sur la figure du poète-médecin.Dominique Rabaté est professeur de littérature française à l'université Paris-Diderot - Paris 7. Membre de l'Institut universitaire de France, il a écrit de nombreux livres sur Quignard, NDiaye, des Forêts, sur le récit au vingtième siècle, ou le sujet lyrique. Ses derniers titres parus sontLe Roman et le Sens de la vie (Paris, 2010) et Gestes lyriques (Paris, 2013), et Désirs de disparaître (Québec, 2015).Didier Alexandre, professeur de lettres à Sorbonne Université, a dirigé l'équipe 20-21 de l'UMR CELLF 16-21 et le laboratoire d'excellence Observatoire de la vie littéraire. Il a consacré ses recherches à Paul Claudel, Guillaume Apollinaire, René Char, Henri Michaux et Claude Simon. Ses travaux portent sur l'histoire de la littérature et les questions de méthodologie posées par la numérisation des textes littéraires.
