L'objectif de cet ouvrage est de dresser un état de l'art des connaissances actuelles concernant la dysarthrie, trouble de l'exécution motrice de la parole dû à une atteinte neurologique. La compréhension des altérations observées dans la parole dysarthrique et leur prise en charge font intervenir différents spécialistes : chercheurs, médecins neurologues, phoniatres et orthophonistes. C'est la raison pour laquelle cet ouvrage a été écrit avec la collaboration de nombreux auteurs français et étrangers. Notre volonté était de concevoir un ouvrage exhaustif, mais aussi accessible, pédagogique et pratique. Cet ouvrage comprend d'une part, un livre présentant les synthèses de chacun des chapitres et d'autre part, un CD contenant les articles complets et détaillés, avec des illustrations en couleur. De cette façon, le lecteur pourra avoir accès aux idées fortes de chaque chapitre en consultant le livre et pourra imprimer ces chapitres dans leur version intégrale. Ce livre est composé de quatre parties : neurophysiologie et production de la parole, évaluation, pathologies et dysarthries associées, prise en charge.
