Product Description Ce fut le dernier projet français de développement rural en Somalie, avant la fin de la république de Siyad Barré. Je faisais partie de la deuxième équipe du projet Palmiers-Dattiers, une équipe à majorité de volontaires français, dispersés avec nos homologues somaliens dans la corne de l'Afrique. Dans la région mythique cap Gardafui, nous allions être confrontés à un choc culturel, géographique et alimentaire et à des conditions de vie spartiates. Le premier volume traite d'une expérience française de développement dans cette région du monde. "Patrimoine socio-économique et naturel de la région du Cap Gardafui" constitue la suite de ce récit de voyage en Somalie. About the Author Né à Paris en 1960, Laurent Chazée est ingénieur agricole et docteur des Etudes de l'Extrême Orient. Entre 1985 et 1987, il fut l'agronome responsable du district de Caluula en Somalie. Cette première expérience internationale le lança dans 25 années d'expatriation en Afrique et en Asie, dans les projets de développement rural et local, de lutte contre la pauvreté puis de développement durable. Depuis 2009, basé en Camargue, il s'est investi dans la protection des écosystèmes humides des pays de la Méditerranée, dans le cadre de la convention de Ramsar.
