Description

English summary: This fourth and final tome of Diodorus Siculuss Bibliotheca Historica follows the history of Rome from 145 BCE to 60 BCE. This compilation of fragments includes events and political developments of Rome, as well as Asia Minor, Syria, and Egypt. This new edition of these essential texts allows for a nuanced understanding of Dioroduss personal interpretation of the events of this era, an interpretation from the point of view of one of the more conservative Romans.
