And yet we humans, the fifth great ape, seem callously able to turn a blind eye to their destruction for the sake of our own rapacious greed. Land, money, cheap ingredients and even components for our mobile phones are prioritized over our family, in a seemingly relentless and insatiable grab for what 'we' want, no matter the consequences. Remembering Great Apes is time for us to say no, no more. We cannot, we will not, let this continue. It is a celebration of the beauty of these species and a cry from those who photograph and love them that things need to change, before it is too late. This is the third book in the groundbreaking Remembering Wildlife series, a project only made possible by the generous wildlife photographers and supporters who march with us in our determination to give wildlife a voice.
