The US citizen must file the Petition for Alien Fiance, Form I-129F, with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). This form requires information about the petitioner and the beneficiary, including their biographical details, relationship history, and intention to marry within 90 days of the beneficiary's arrival in the United States. After filing the petition, the USCIS will review and approve or deny the petition. If approved, the USCIS will forward the petition to the National Visa Center (NVC) for further processing.
